One of the wisest men i've ever come across in my lifetime is my university vice-chancellor Dr David Oyedepo... and of all the wise words he muttered while i was still in the university one stood out, he said n i quote- Excellence is the only deterrence against racism- ppl dnt care what color you are as long as you can get the job done , you'll get that job. I'm proud to be alive this moment at this time and to know be knowledgeable enuf to know the historic significance of this victory... now it's time for the world to come together and create a lasting change that'll affect generations unborn positively. OBAMA YOU'RE MY HERO(i write this with tears of joy trickling down my face for the third time)
Wise words! I was and am very moved by this. Excellence won out yesterday, and our country will be better for it. Though the dream of equality is not absolutely realized this is a revolutionary moment that pushes us closer to that goal.
