SS09 with Alexander McQueen was a little awkward. There was a progression of hourglass shapes culiminating with that monstrosity you see on the bottom right above. Still, I defended Alex against the naysayers. I thought some of the hourglass pieces could be worn. I was mistaken. The graphic image in simply unflattering on most likely a wide range of body types and something else occured to me while staring probably too hard at the computer screen:

There was a nice edge to that collection but I was utterly distracted by the shoes cos they were square-toed. haha
Oh god. The square toes, I fucking forgot about those!
